Lough Gara Stables & Country Pursuits is a family run business based 5 miles outside Boyle on the shores of beautiful Lough Gara. Lough Gara stables is a member of the Association of Irish Riding Establishments (A.I.R.E.).
We are an outdoor activity centre on the shores of Lough Gara 15 minutes from Carrick On Shannon.
Jimmy Kneale runs the Shooting centre. www.stagpartyshootingcarrick.com He shoots internationally, He won a silver medal for Ireland in the world championships in 2009. James McGary who also shoots on the Irish team also teaches shooting activities.

Stables
Adrien Kneale BHS SM/II runs the stables and activity centre for children. The stables are AIRE approved. we run the Saddle club every Saturday morning and advanced dressage lessons .
We offer packages for schools/scouts / girl guides/ birthday parties / summer camps including following activities:

- Air soft shooting
- Archery
- Assault course
- Pet’s corner
- Falconry
The Irish weather is not a problem with our roofed riding arena and our shooting shelters.
